It's one of our favorite times of the year: Chicago Craft Beer Week! We're celebrating on Michigan Avenue by offering some special events and rare beers. We have a lot going on, so pick a date and join us for some CCBW fun.

May 18th Lagunitas "Puppy Patio Party" CCBW Kick-off @ 5pm

Sweetwater is kicking of CCBW with a fundraiser for ALIVE Rescue Shelter. 50/50 raffle tickets will be on sale for $5 with the winner chosen that night.

Raffle tickets will also be on sale throughout CCBW; $2 tickets for a chance to win a Lagunitas brewery tour for 4 and an Industry Discounted meal at Sweetwater. The winner drawn and notified on May 26th.

Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday - A super limited edition unfiltered wet-hopped pale ale

May 19th Whiner Brewing Co's CCBW Premier @ 5pm

Whiner Brewing is a new local brewery doing crazy cool things with barrel aging - think your favorite light Saison thrown into your go-to Cabernet barrels for 10 months. Perfection. We are so happy to host their first foray into Craft Beer Week, and also excited that Brian Taylor (head brewer, owner) is slated to attend.

May 25th B Nektar Meadery CCBW Finale, 5pm

The largest meadery of the 300 in the US, B Nektar have perfected the art of meads since their founding in 2006. We are so thrilled to host this unique producer, not to mention the only meadery on's Top 100 breweries. As B Nektar says "Proud of this story as they may be, they put a lot of effort into not taking themselves too seriously."
