Mead Tapping
We've got a need for mead! On October 15th, join us for a special tapping of B. Nektar's Kill All The Golfers.
So what is mead, anyway? Well, it's an alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey, yeast, and water, and is sometimes referred to as "honey wine". Mead is sometimes brewed similarly to beer due to the addition of hops in the beverage, but usually has a higher ABV percentage more akin to wine. Surprisingly, like wine, not all mead is as sweet as you might expect! Flavor profiles can range from candy-sweet to bone dry. Meads can be still or sparkling.
B. Nektar's Kill All The Golfers mead boasts an ABV of 6%. The flavor profile is that of mildly sweet, rich honey followed by bitter black tea and notes of sour lemon. Full-bodied with a tannic, dry finish and a fresh tobacco aftertaste.
Be sure to try B. Nektar Kill All The Golfers mead when we tap it on October 15th!
