Oktoberfest Beer Dinner
To celebrate Oktoberfest in Chicago we're hosting an al fresco German-themed beer dinner! Join Howells & Hood for our annual outdoor Oktoberfest Beer Dinner on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6pm.
Hosted in our giant patio and attached private event space, this fall-festive event includes seven grilled German-themed dishes from Executive Chef Brett Neubauer, four Oktoberfest beers from Surly, Avery, Urban Chestnut, and Metropolitan breweries, plus a special traditional digestif.
We offer food and drink enthusiasts a spin on the traditional beer dinner with a casual, convivial environment. Come hungry!
To kick off the festivities, guests are welcomed on the patio with a 6oz. tasting of a classic Oktoberfest beer. Representatives of Surly, Metropolitan, and Urban Chestnut will be onsite, and each beer station will be free-flowing and approachable throughout the night. Chef Brett will be roasting a whole suckling pig out on the patio (photos encouraged), accompanied by more German-inspired food. We will also finish off the night with a traditional German digestif.
Tickets are priced at $60 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
