Raising Money for Breast Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s chilling to know that 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will hear the words, “You have breast cancer.” The Lynn Sage Foundation seeks better breast cancer outcomes by funding innovative research. Since 2007, they have provided over $1.8 million to support the best and brightest researchers working to improve the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
To support their effort, Bottleneck Management is partnering with Boston Beer Co. this October to raise money in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Through the “Hops for Hope” campaign, Bottleneck and Boston Beer Co. will each donate $1 per Angry Orchard Hard Cider and Boston Lager sold throughout the month. All money raised will be donated to the Lynn Sage Foundation which is seeking better breast cancer outcomes by funding innovative research.
